LATINO is a large-format diptych composed exclusively of postage stamps from Latin American countries. The work transforms postal mail into a cartographic and symbolic representation of the territory: each stamp functions as a fragment of sovereignty that, when integrated with the others, reveals the historical, territorial, and cultural ties that connect the countries of the region. Through the accumulation of these postal images, the work reflects on Latin American identity, its borders, and the historical relationships that have shaped the continent. The resulting map simultaneously reveals a symbolic unity and the tensions that run through the region.
